EasyIncubate helps bird keepers, breeders, and hatchery-style operators track incubation batches, milestones, hatch outcomes, inventory, simple finances, and related records. This policy describes how we handle personal and operational information when you use the service at easyincubate.com (the “Service”).
1. What information we collect
Depending on how you use EasyIncubate, we may process:
- Account and profile information. For example, email address, name, authentication identifiers, farm or hatchery details you enter, timezone, and other profile or onboarding fields you choose to provide.
- Operational data you create in the app. This includes batch and hatch records, species or breed labels, notes, incidents, readings or measurements you log, placement and timeline details, inventory and bird group records, and sales or expense entries you add. It also includes timestamps and other metadata the app needs to show your data correctly.
- Billing and subscription information. If you subscribe or use paid features, we receive and store limited billing metadata (for example Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, plan or price IDs, subscription status, and current period dates) tied to your account. Payment card numbers are processed by Stripe, not stored by us (see Payments below).
- Usage, technical, and analytics information. When you use the site, standard technical data may be collected automatically, such as IP address, device or browser type, general location derived from IP, pages or screens viewed, referring URLs, and timestamps. We also use a third-party analytics script to understand product usage in aggregate (see Analytics below).
- Local storage on your device. The app may keep small amounts of data in your browser (for example form drafts or session-related storage) so features work smoothly, including when you are briefly offline.
- Support communications. If you email us, we keep the content of those messages and our replies so we can help you.
2. How we use information
We use the information above to:
- Provide, operate, and improve EasyIncubate
- Create and maintain your account and sync your records
- Process subscriptions, enforce access to paid features, and communicate about billing where appropriate
- Keep the Service secure, troubleshoot issues, and prevent abuse
- Respond to support requests
- Understand how the product is used so we can prioritize features and fix problems (including through analytics)
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms
We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for third-party targeted advertising.
3. Payments
Payments and card data are handled by Stripe, a payment processor. When you pay, Stripe collects and processes payment details according to its own policies. We do not receive or store your full card number on our servers.
We may receive from Stripe limited information such as payment confirmation, customer ID, subscription status, invoice references, and similar metadata needed to unlock features and keep your account accurate.
4. Analytics and tracking
We use analytics to understand traffic and usage (for example which parts of the product are used and how the site performs). The public site loads an analytics script from datafa.st (configured for our domain). That provider may process technical and usage data such as pages visited, approximate location, device and browser characteristics, and events needed for reporting.
Analytics helps us improve the product and run the business; it is not used to sell your personal data. For details on how that vendor handles data, see their documentation and privacy materials.
5. Infrastructure and storage
EasyIncubate runs on cloud infrastructure. In particular:
- Supabase hosts our application database, authentication, and related backend services. Account data and the operational records you create are stored there under our project.
- Stripe processes payments and holds payment-related records as described above.
- The analytics provider at datafa.st processes usage data as described in section 4.
- We rely on hosting and edge providers to serve the website and API (for example serverless or edge functions that power Next.js routes). Those providers may process technical data needed to deliver requests.
We choose subprocessors that fit a small SaaS product; where they act on our behalf, we use them only as needed to run the Service.
6. Sharing
We share information only in limited situations:
- Service providers who help us host, secure, authenticate, store data, process payments, or analyze usage (such as Supabase, Stripe, analytics, and hosting vendors), under instructions compatible with this policy
- Legal and safety when we believe disclosure is required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or integrity of users, EasyIncubate, or the public
- Business transfers if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, in which case we will require the successor to honor commitments consistent with this policy (and we will notify you if practicable)
We do not sell personal information.
7. Retention and deletion
We keep information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. We may retain certain records longer where required for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, security logs, or legal compliance (for example billing-related metadata).
The app does not currently include a self-serve “delete my account” button. If you want to close your account and delete personal data we hold, contact us at the email below. We will work with you to verify your request and delete or anonymize information where we can, subject to legal and legitimate retention needs.
8. Cookies and similar technologies
We and our providers may use cookies, local storage, session tokens, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, protect against abuse, remember preferences, and support analytics and performance measurement. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may limit sign-in or certain features.
9. Children's privacy
EasyIncubate is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
10. Security
We use industry-standard practices appropriate to the size of the product (including encryption in transit, access controls, and vendor security features). No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; we work to reduce risk but cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. International users
Our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries. If you access EasyIncubate from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and stored in those locations.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. For material changes, we may also notify you by email or an in-app notice where appropriate.
